Long Beach, CA – Feb 7, 2008 - - Blue Water Partners Global, LLC, a leading provider of security services and solutions, today announced that it has received approval from The Rhode Island Department of Education Office of Teacher Preparation, Certification and Professional Development for its Understanding School Shootings Course.
“By approving the Understanding School Shootings course, Rhode Island has made it possible for its educators to incorporate school safety as an important part of their professional development,” said Dr. Marisa Randazzo Founder of Threat Assessment Resources International, LLC and course author and presenter. “This course will help teachers, administrators, staff, and parents to prevent school shootings by knowing what behaviors to look for and what to do if they see such behavior in a student they know”.
